Christmas Wishes

Step One
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two
- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use—or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free—do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf—to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not — it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

1) Gift certificates. I adore them since I can pick out my own stuff, you know? I love a variety of places and just about anything is love. Like clothing stores, book stores, grocery stores. Food is often on my mind nowadays without having much.
2) Bath & Body Works - Sweet Pea stuff. My favorite store and sweet pea is my scent haha. I love their stuff a lot. But I love just about anything from there.
3) Fanfiction. Makes me feel all warm and special to get a fanfic just for me. Here are some prompts and I'd love anything Christmas related - caroling, candy canes, tinsel, silver bells, fireplace, starlight, fairies. Can use all or one or combine some. Whatever! I really love Drarry but I love other Potter ships. I am very into GG, LOTR, POTC, Fringe, Buffy - for other fandoms.
4) Fanart. I've never had a picture drawn from one of my fics, so that could be a lot of fun. :] But it could be something else too.
5) Post cards and/or Christmas cards. They are fun to recieve.
6) Snowman anything. Seriously I collect snowman stuff. So, anything would be much, much love.
7) Guitar and/or Song Books. I really want to learn how to play but haven't been able to snag one yet. Oh, and the song books could be for the keyboard too since I am trying to learn that. And for voice. Anything with technique or how to learn is love too. Whether it is book, DVD, whatever.
8) Karaoke Machine and/or anything musical related. You know the kind that uses CDs and displays the words? Yeah, much love. I had one awhile ago but in all the moving it got broke. It was super sad. Or a different kind would be fun too. I use it mostly for practicing singing since I really want to do that professionally. So, really anything music related is really love. Oh! And I adore musicals. LIke a lot. Plays in general. I love the theater. One day I'd love to see a play on Broadway. That is another of my biggest dreams. So, yeah anything music related.
9) Different car. The one I have is like a total lemon and is pretty much junk. It doesn't brake very well, it uses far too much gas, there is no air and most of the windows will not roll down. I will never go shopping for a car alone ever again. I should have realized the guy was far too sugary-sweet but ah well. Live and learn, right? So, anything that like drove better would be love.
10) House. We are looking for just about anything. We have rented and that is what we are doing now and it is such a waste when that money can go to something that is ours. 3 bedroom / 2 bath is the ultimate dream with a nice backyard for pets. We can't have pets in the place we are at and it makes me really sad. I have never really lived in a place that was actually owned. Have always rented, except when I was like mmm 7 I believe it was.
